“ I’ve been belly dancing since the 80s. I’m an avid traveler just got back from Egypt. Artist writer, ukulele, player, equestrian enthusiast, retired chemotherapy nurse and my Yorkie Enzo runs the show at home.”

“ After a foot injury my doctor said to dance! Started belly dancing 50 years ago and never looked back. I’m hooked on the art, the music and the dancers I have met. I danced with several troupes, taught some classes, but always take a classes whenever I can. I fell in love with Middle Eastern food, too. I was in law enforcement for most of my career. My hobbies have included gardening, stained glass and quilting. I’m just an all-around Florida girl with southern Georgia and Pennsylvania German roots who loves middle eastern dancing. ”

“ I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I married my husband who had joined the United States Air Force, which I had the privilege to travel all over the world. I have a son, a daughter, two granddaughters, a great grand baby boy and an English Bulldog named Lola. As for me, I’m now retired from the Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force. Dancing is my passion among other things like crafting and painting using different mediums..”

“ I am Brazilian and came to the USA about 4 years ago to attend grad school. I am a biologist, and my fields of study are botany, paleontology, and ecology. I love to dance Latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue, and bachata, and my favorite Brazilian dance Forró. I do martial arts; kickboxing and boxing, and I like painting in oil. I also love going out to eat, partying, and watching arthouse movies. Belly dance for me is an excellent opportunity to be with women from all walks of life and to do one of the things I like the most. The friends I made in the classes will always be in my heart as examples of strong and big-hearted women..”
